How much does a small business website cost?
Our fully managed plan starts at £80 a month with £0 upfront — that covers the build, hosting, SSL, updates and ongoing edits. If you'd rather own it outright, a one-off hand-coded build starts from £1,200. Larger sites, shops and migrations are quoted on request.
How long does it take to build my website?
Most small business sites go live in two to three weeks from the point we have your content. Simple one-page sites can be quicker; larger multi-page or e-commerce builds take longer. You'll get a clear timeline before we start.
Do you build WordPress websites too?
Yes. Our default is a hand-coded static site because it's faster and more secure, but if you need WordPress for a specific reason we build that properly too — no bloated page-builder themes.
What's included in the monthly plan?
Design and build, UK-edge hosting, domain guidance, SSL, daily backups, security monitoring, performance tuning, and ongoing content edits. There's no separate maintenance bill.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site is built with clean semantic markup, fast Core Web Vitals, structured data and local SEO foundations. We also set up and optimise your Google Business Profile so you can appear in local map results.
Do you only work with businesses in Cambridgeshire?
We're based in St Ives and work with businesses across Cambridgeshire — Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots, Peterborough and beyond — but everything we do works remotely, so we happily take on clients anywhere in the UK.
What happens if I want to cancel?
The managed website plan has a 12-month minimum. After that, give us a month's notice and we'll stop billing. If you'd like to keep the site, we'll quote a fair buy-out so you can take it with you.
