Search Ads that actually convert
Real keyword research, tight ad groups, negative keywords and human-written copy — not the AI-generated bloat Google's setup wizard ships by default.
Honest, hands-on Google Ads management for UK small businesses. Set up properly, tracked properly, and reported on in plain English. £150/month management, no long contracts.
What's included
Most small business owners we speak to have been burned by a "Google specialist" who set up a campaign in 20 minutes and never touched it again. We do the opposite.
Real keyword research, tight ad groups, negative keywords and human-written copy — not the AI-generated bloat Google's setup wizard ships by default.
For trades and local services, LSAs put you above paid search and the map pack — pay-per-lead, not pay-per-click. We'll set up and manage them.
If the goal is the phone ringing, we run call-only ads — no website hop, just a direct tap-to-call from the search result on mobile.
Sending paid traffic to your homepage is the most common waste of ad spend we see. We hand-code dedicated landing pages around the offer.
GA4, call tracking, form tracking, Meta Pixel where it helps — set up properly so you actually know what's working and what's burning budget.
Plain-English monthly reports: clicks, calls, enquiries, cost per lead. No vanity dashboards — just what it cost and what it brought in.

Google Ads FAQ
For most local UK small businesses we'd suggest a minimum ad spend of £300–£500/month, plus our £150/month management. Below that, you don't gather enough data to optimise properly. Trades and service businesses with higher job values can go further faster.
You'll see clicks and traffic within hours of going live. Meaningful enquiry numbers usually take 2–4 weeks while we gather data, cut wasted keywords, and tune the campaign. Honest results in months one and two, real momentum by month three.
They do different jobs. Google Ads gives you enquiries this week but stops the moment you stop paying. SEO is slower but builds compounding free traffic. For most small businesses we recommend running both — ads while SEO catches up.
Yes — even call-only ads need a basic landing page for Google's quality score. If you don't have a website yet, we can build a fast hand-coded one from £80/month as part of the same package.
No. Paid ad management is rolling month-to-month with a 30-day notice period. We'd rather you stay because the campaign works, not because you're locked in.
Ads work best when they land somewhere convincing. If clicks arrive on a slow, dated page, you pay for the visit and lose the enquiry — which is why we usually pair a campaign with a fast, conversion-focused website or a dedicated landing page. For trades specifically, our tradesmen websites are built around tap-to-call, which is where most ad budget converts.
Paid search is also only half the picture. Ads buy you visibility today; local SEO keeps it once you stop paying. If you're deciding where to start, read whether to start with Google Ads or SEO and how Local Service Ads compare to Search Ads. Running Meta as well? We cover that on our paid advertising page.
